Playoffs Theme: 🥂 The Roaring Twentskees!🥂
SEE BRACKETS AND PLAYOFF RULES, BELOW.
Unlike the regular skeeson, Playoff match times are based solely on your seedings and are not flexible.
You’ll notice the first match starts at 6:30pm to allow a little extra wiggle room. We highly recommend leaving early and planning for traffic. No one wants to win by forfeiture, and we certainly don’t want to have to forfeit your team, but there’s simply too much on the schedule to wait on folks that are tardskee. You’ve been forewarned, so no sour grapes please.
Match play format is determined by Playoff Round, and is clearly listed on the bottom right corner of each bracket.
Win and move on! Don’t go wander too far, though. If the schedule moves faster than expected we will get rolling so long as both teams are readskee.
A minimum of two original team members MUST be in attendance.
Matches will start promptly at listed start time. A minimum of 3 people team representatives must be present to start the match. Don’t be late!
Subs CANNOT be anyone currently rolling in any SKEE League location. (Past, and non-active rollers are acceptable but no previous league champions/ individual or team included.) If you need help finding a sub that meets compliance, let us know.
Subs are on a 1:1 ratio. One person missing? Only one additional sub should be rolling.
Teams with more than 3 participants MUST rotate in ALL teammates who are in attendance during the match. You may change the order, frequency and rotation, but everyone must be involved in at least one game for each set of the the match. It’s OK to be strategic, just don’t leave anyone out.
The 9th Ball Rule is instituted in the finals to add an extra element of strategy, interest and intrigue! It’s when the 9th and final ball is intentionally held back to ensure that the team with the highest score after 8 balls completes their round first — allowing the team that is behind to know exactly what score they need to beat. It’s pressure filled skee at it’s finest!
