The skeeson is over. Restaurant week is slowly dwindling down (I’m open and willing to go to NEXT if any one’s buying). And though 2013 is still just beginning, it seems as though so many things are coming to an end.

Well — not Skeezy Does it. Oh no. I’m going to try as I might to keep this bad boy going. It is, after all, about all things skee, CHICAGO and Skeezy-related. And though Skeeball may be on hiatus, our lives aren’t (how deep, i know). With that in mind….

SKEEZY DOES IT OFF-SKEESON STYLE

Old Town Photo Scavenger Hunt

Unless you happened to have lost your super spiffy smartphone during a night of drunken shenanigans, I think it’s safe to assume we’re pretty much smart-phone rockin’ crew. And … if last Saturday’s #Skeeapalooza hit is any indication, we’re all pretty photo-savvy too.

Enter Google+’s Old Town Photo Scavenger Hunt

It’s a chance to get out and explore our favorite city with Google’s Community Managers, win some swag and take some snazzy photos. I’ll be there, and I’m always game for company!

Ms. Pac Man Tourney at Headquarters Beercade

I am not, nor have I ever been, a closet gamer. Yes, I own an N64, complete with Super Smash, Golden Eye and Zelda: Ocarana of Time* (to name a few), but that does not make me some’sort of gaming mastermind. Far from it.

I am, however, competitive, so when I stumbled across Headquarters’ Ms. Pac Man tourney, you can bet I was intrigued. So much so I signed Mike and myself up. Our theory, skeeball skills may just translate into Ms. Pac Man arcade skills.

To all those interested, it’s Wednesday at 7pm at Headquarters Beercade (the new arcade bar) in LP. You can come to cheer on Mike or myself, or you can come to play. Either way, the more the merrier.

* Ten years later, I’m still stuck on the damn water temple level.

Trivia

Going with my competitive nature, MJ and I are organizing a little Mardi Gras Trivia night for Tuesday. It’s pretty much an open invite, so just speak up if your’re interested. More details to come.

I do believe that’s it for the week — oh wait, there is the auto show (Feb. 9-18). Even if you didn’t get all kinds of stupid excited about the new Fast and the Furious movie (liiiike me), there are some pretty damn drool-worthy cars to go waste yor afternoon away with.

Cheers! L*Skeezy
