ROOKSKEE OF THE YEAR UPDATE
Rookskee of the Year is an award given to 1st skeeson players for their superb performance on the lanes. The SKEE League has been around for 3 years, 9 skeesons included, and there has been an establishment of superior players. Those who can hang with those superior players in their first go around are the ones who win this award. Here are the candidates from the two nights through Week 3:
Tuesday
1) Peter Hongisto (Chicago Transit Authoritskee): 311.33 AVG
He has scored 300 or above every week so far and is the only Tuesday rookskee to do that. He leads all Tuesday rookskees in hundos (18).
2) Andrew Sawyer (Live SKEE or Die): 298.00 AVG
He has scored the highest game for a Tuesday Rookskee this skeeson last week (339).
3) Jon Grunde (Pimpin’ Ain’t Skeezy): 285.00 AVG
He has been a steady 3rd roller for his team to this point.
4) Adria Ososkie (Skeeyonce): 282.00 AVG
Has scored at least 290 in the last 2 weeks after scoring a 265 in Week 1.
5) Corey Cummings (Chicago Transit Authoritskee): 273.67 AVG
He has improved with score and hundos every week so far with a high score of 297 and a high of 8 hundos in Week 3.
Wednesday
1) Rachel Pennellatore (SKEEBOLA VIRUS): 366.00 AVG
She has clearly played well out of all the rookskees, but has only been in 2 matches.
2) Shane Betlinsk (Big Leballskees): 295.67 AVG
His score of 359 in Week 2 is the highest score for any rookskee besides Rachel (who has scores of 370 and 362).
3) Tom Hove (MSKEE Hammer): 262.33 AVG
He has improved with hundos each week, which includes his best, 5 hundos, in Week 3.
4) Andrew Dordek (MSKEE Hammer): 262.00 AVG
A clear improvement with his scores each week of a steady incline; 229 in Week 1, 265 in Week 2, and 292 in Week 3.
There is still 2 weeks left to make a difference before the award is given out during SKEEAPALLOZA on November 8th.
