FINAL FOUR BREAKDOWN

#4 Jean Luc SKEEhards vs. #2 Trivskeeal Pursuit

It’s hard to believe, but last year’s former SKEE Champs are actually come into this matchup as slight underdogs to the hot rolling Trivskeeal Pursuit, who are bolstered by Tuesday Nights #1 MONEY BALL ROLLER, Lindsay Stevens. Oh, was I not supposed to announce that yet? Oh, well. The team name, Triskeeal Pursuit, is based on what is, IMO, Chicago’s most dynamic and intelligent pub trivia team  — Adriane “Rieces Skeeces”, Ben “Skeephen Balldwin” and myself “the Skee-EO. (We have several 2nd and 3rd place finishes.) Jean Luc Skeehard features one of the league’s most underrated rollers, George “Weskee Crusher”, who rarely rolls for hundos in matchplay but when he does, he straight crushes it – qualifying with ease for the Hundo Shoot Out last Tuesday. Perhaps the most intriguing storyline in this matchup is that Ryan “Skeeloo Dallas” actually recruited Ben into skeeball, and served together as skeemates for The Skeedish Bikini Team in the Glascott’s League for several skeesons before Ryan’s babskeemama got pregnant with Ben’s babskee and things got messkee. Ok, none of that babskee stuff actually happened, but this will be the first time they have faced each other head to head in league-play, which is almost as exciting. One huge blow to the SKEEHARDS will be the loss of Joan Luc Skeehard, who will be attending a wedding. (Who schedules their wedding on Ballmageddon?!) The are going to need a subskee to step up big time if they plan on beaming up to the final round. Nothing trivial about playoffs.

#1 Martskee McFly and The Hoverboards vs. #2 Teach Me How To Dougskee

This is looking like the skeeson of destinskee for Martskee McFly, with the Queen of SKEE Jess Hanebury’s scores hovering higher than ever before. College skeethearts Jake “Juiceskee J”Guidry and Betsy “The Catapult” Mikel are skeesoned vets and have so far have looked unflappable, even when facing the steepest of comskeetition. Teach Me How To Dougskee is going to have to stay consistent and post some big hundo rounds if they want to keep on dancing into the finals. The good news is, Amy “1st Ladskee” Appleman and Allison “Pardus Skee Intertuption” Pardus are not longer just opening acts for the big show- #1 Wedneday night roller RJ “RP3SKEE” Pitlock. They’ve been coming up big when it counts and have rightfully earned their way to stage to play out what should be an EPIC final skeeformance!

Good luck to all. The 24 hour countdown to Ballmageddon has begun…
